Berger bullets

Just wondering: has anyone used Bergers on deer? They claim on their website that they're suitable, even though they're match bullets... ?

Or is it a case that they're sold in the UK as match bullets, so use on game is verboten?

I had a few 155gr VLD's that I had loaded. Very accurate, wanted to try them on deer but used them up on long range crows.
I'm sure they will work. Cut open a few different bullets to see copper thickness and just look inside.

I know the 155gr a-max is used quite often on deer. I've only shot a fox
with them and it worked less violent than expected. Maybe it's more important that impact speed and bullet design suit.
Others use cast lead bullets, imagine.
