Best add on

Question has probably been asked many times but after recommendations for either a thermal front add on or a night vision front add on.
Currently have a Zeiss scope on my rifle that I’m more than happy with, fantastic daytime clarity.
I don’t really want to change to a day/night scope I’ve looked through friends and although it ticks all the boxes and performs well it’s just not the same as looking through quality glass.
Has to be front add on, have an old pard set up on my .22 and definitely could use it comfortably on my centrefire rifles

As I posted elsewhere on here, after using an Alpex 4k LRF for a year, I’ve gone back to using glass and have Rusan clamps permanently fitted to my 3 Swaro scopes - a 50mm, a 56mm and a DS, to fit th3 clip-on thermal. The scope portion stays affixed (I carry muzzle down) and I fit the Hik Thunder 3 at LL for those last 20-30 minutes. This gives me full use of the glass during the day and then thermal for that last productive session - especially on the fallow.

More important that scope obj diameter is base magnification. The Z6i 50 has a base mag of 5x, the Z6i 56 2.5x. Of these, I find the 2.5x gives me better “performance” and you set up a different profile up for each scope which includes the picture scaling, so you can still keep full visibility of the entire display screen.
