So I currently have RIPE Insurance on my firearms and equipment, this years renewal has just come through £273. I only need the insurance for my property in case of theft/fire etc as I have NRA insurance for when I’m using the firearms. My home insurance (AVIVA) won’t cover the firearms.

So who do you recommend?

LV cover firearms as part of a home policy, as do Nationwide. I'm currently with the latter after LV hiked my premium last year.

Direct line and Aviva do. Your quote is more than my last DL Premium quote for my buildings and contents.

Don't go near Ripe formally gunplan, put my insurance up without telling me by letter so I cancelled l it though the bank, to be told by Ripe it's only done by email so if you don't receive it or you miss it to bad, I am left with insurance for guns I don't have now
