Best LPVO for an under lever

I looked at the Strike Eagle too, it’s slightly lighter than the Venom but also slightly more expensive. But you really can’t knock Vortex’s lifetime warranty, it’s amazing . They have replaced both my Viper HD which had a fogging issue (but I bought it second hand ) and my range finding 10yr old Binos ….which I also bought second hand

Man, I love a good LPVO, hard to beat for quick short range shooting. The Vortex's are pretty good, especially for the price. The Vector Optics seem like they are better though, with more features for the same or less money.

The All Weather Henry 20” carries a Swarovski 1.5-4 x 24 mounted in Burris Signature Zee rings. Home loading with Sierra 210g JHC bullets easily achieves 1700 plus ft lbs, so roe legal in E & W. The 300BLK carries a 1- 6 x 24 Vortex Strike Eagle on an American Defense QR mount.

Watch C_does review of the paragon 1-6 SFP fibre dot.
It simply isn't as good as a Vortex, but it is cheaper. I've got one myself and it is very good, but it's not as good as LPVOs costing 3-4x as much.

I wasn't talking about the Paragon, I expect they are lower quality than the Continentals, and more comparable to the Vortex Venoms and Strike Fire. The Continental is more comparable to the Razors.

If you aren't buying a Vortex Razor Gen 2, Vortex PST gen 2 or Primary Arms PLX then the Vector Optics Continental 1-8x is very, very hard to beat.

Sorry, mixed my product lines up - I mean the continental. They definitely aren't on par with a Razor.
I'd be looking at the Leica - amazing field of View.
For a few dollars less Delta's offering is probably really good for the money

Yes….working up my loads using Hodgdon H110, both the Hornady 200g XTP & Sierra 240g JHC also produced average muzzle velocities, which, when calculated, are comfortably in excess of 1700 ft lbs, however the 210g Sierra JHC is the most accurate through the rifle.

The Hodgdon Reloading Centre is a good place to start, based on a 20” barrel. Loads were then fine tuned using Quickload and the most accurate chronographed at the range to ensure they met the 1700 ft lbs threshold.Nice man!! Well..... I made a decision and went with a Burris Fullfield 2-8x35 scope for my Henry.
Its not an LPVO, but for what I want it for, which is 100 yards at Bisley I think it should work well.
My Henry is the older Gen1, so it will use a cantilever mount bolted in where the rear sight sits now. That will need to be drifted out, the cantilever mount fitted and then I have ordered up some Warne 201M Medium rings to mount the scope with. And a dovetail blank to fill the dovetail gap.
Hopefully this will all work nicely, be low enough that it won't hurt the cheek weld much and give me good visibility of the target and bullet holes at 100 yards. It's also pretty short and light.
