Best new bit of gear in the last year.

I'm late to the party as they've been around for years but a Buffalo Systems smock (mountain shirt)...... Whether up a high seat in Southern England or pounding up the hill in Scotland... What a fantastic piece of kit and so simple in regard to today's "technical" clothing.

Excellent bits of kit and still made in the UK👍

Badgers? You've lost me there.... :-|
Look at your picture you put up
from a distance . Look at your two badgers on the floor. 😉😂
I know diffrent. I heard your two shots and saw the fallow doe and kid

Just think of the attention your stall would get at the next food festival . Selling badger hams
Also a free holiday in one of HMP
😉😉

I hit the Land-Rover’s CD player button on the below some 15-minutes before sunrise and listen to the first 3 tracks as I prepare my deerstalking bits & bobs. Great for clearing the mind and preparing it for the mental challenges ahead:

Put another way it puts me in a the groove, which is no bad thing given I paid an eye-watering sum for a mint copy of the CD!

What tent!!
It's the WildLand Wild Cruiser 160.
We toyed with the idea of getting the bigger (250) model, which would have been better value in terms of how much space you get for your money, but it would have been a real bastard of a thing to get on and off the roof of the pickup due to its sheer size and weight. The 160 is a nice compromise, the missus and I can lift it onto the pickup OK between us (just about), and it's easy to bolt in place once it's up there.
Pitching up, it takes about 3 minutes to erect and it gives us a double-bed sized space inside.
It's by no means the cheapest make and model on the market, but we looked at quite a few and there are a number of significant reasons why we chose this one.
So far I think its one of the best things I've ever bought!

Your going to have a finger off with that. Its strange that Mora still make such a knife without a finger guard that could so easily damage a hand. I don't read about such dangers in Sweden though. I have a knife that has no finger guard that has done plenty of greasy fallow and most of my fingers are still working OK.

Calm down, Untwist your knickers. I wrote that very tongue in cheek. I do know how to use a knife after 50 + years of hunting.
