Have a hw100 air rifle air powered and wondering best place to get it serviced and also it is not holding air so gas cylinder probably needs new seals. Just wondering if anyone has any advice.
I think you can send to hull cartridges but it has to go via a firearms dealer. Anybody had any experience.

I very much doubt that it will be the air cylinder that is leaking. If you really think so, just take it off, fill it up, set aside for a few days and see if the pressure gauge has gone down.

The HW100 is probably the easiest PCP to work on. Anyone with some hex keys can take it to bits in minutes, re-seal, and put it back together. It is a most excellent, user friendly, design.

You can get a kit of everything needed from e.g. Bagnall&Kirkwood. Seven quid. A great retailer and a local shop, to me, at times.

You will also need some suitable o-ring lube. Which might cost as much again.

There might be vids online showing how to do it. I did take mine to bits, out of curiosity. Re-lubed. Then put it back together again as-was. Half an hours work, and I was learning as I went along.

My HW100 has been going strong for probably a decade with no need to mess. With PCPs, they benefit from regular use, to keep the seals exercised. Congratulations, you have one of the best PCPs ever made.

If you can't DIY, there may be some local shop, or person, who can.

Cheers, might give Pickering guns a ring as I’m working near there the next few weeks. But will have a look on you tube and see how easy it is to do.

There is also a chap (one of those Northerner’s I believe ;)) runs a site dedicated to the 100.
Full seal kits, spare parts, lightweight cylinders (also gave me some idiot proof instructions with my order).
HW100tuning

I’ve had a look on his website and sent him an email, I gassed the cylinder up whilst it was detached from the gun and it’s definitely loosing pressure.
taken the opportunity to strip all that creosote looking finish off and putting a boiled linseed finish on it not sure what the deal is as did the same with my anschutz .22 as the finish on that was almost like a brown paint and couldnt see the wood must be a German gun thing.

Aside from HWTuning, there's a well regarded person over on one of the airgun forums who would service it. However, if you have the time and inclination, as stated above fairly easy to do yourself with a seal kit.
