Best quad hand protectors

Anyone got any suggestions as to a decent set of hand protectors that leave the switchgear exposed? I was using a pair of muffs on my KLF, but they of course obscure the switches 🤔

Don't do it, our quad course instructor said they are deadly, holding you onto the bike if it tips over, he knew of a few serious injuries where they contributed.

I use heated handlebar grips with Army surplus mitts, that combo has proven effective up to -10 degrees C in the Perthshire mountains

I'm on and off the bike a lot around the farm, so mitts would be a bit of a pita 🤔 I liked the muffs I had on the wee KLF, but they're just not practical for this bike. I need something to keep the wind off though.

Bit of an update. I'd completely forgotten about this, but recently ordered a set of these.

CF wanted almost £100 for something similar, but for under a tenner these were worth a go. Absolutely superb. Dead easy to fit, solid as a rock, and leave plenty of clear space around the grips. Highly recommended

Heated grips are superb, well worth the money!
Really? I just can't see that they'd keep the front of your hands warm? 🤔 I don't spend a lot of time on the quad, as I'm off and on it a lot, but I really suffered when I harrowed my pasture with no gloves or mitts. And yes I know, but we all have to learn. And the hard way is always best, right? Right? 😳😆

Yup to heated grips :thumb: However, I quickly learnt the error of my ways and had to retrofit fit the throttle thumb heater too! I also have a heated seat too on the quad - luxury 🤗

You won’t regret it, they heat the hand all the way through, I have to use them on low setting they are so warm, just help with the circulation as well that gets shot from the handlebar vibration!

The guards above are a sound investment for the money if at least to stop cold knuckles getting wrapped!

I got the Heat Demon ATV set from the US, get the one with the thumb heater as well, they're an absolute godsend. I also fitter Maier hand guards which are similar to the ones you have fitted.
