I got a buck to come out of a woodland edge and over the fence the other week, that was with the Weisskierchen call. it was a yearling or a 2 year old it seemed from it's physique, so probably just young and horny, but interesting and a fun exercise to test the new call nevertheless.

wouldn't be calling too much before the rut, gives them the idea a crazy guy is about on the ground! LOL

I was out this weekend and the second yearling I shot had a poor looking sister with no adult doe in sight. I have just got my Nordic so tried it out, a few little peeps then a little more and the doe kid came into me a trying to work me out, I played grandmas footsteps for a while then she pottered off. This after stumbling on a badger family playing v close to me and they had no idea I was there, great weather and a nice day out.

only thing I need o do is put it on a lanyard!
