Best scope for use with NV add ons.

I have used pard 007 with Hawk on my Rimmy, Leopold on air rifle and Delta Titanium, Zeiss V4, Meopta Optima 6 and currently Leica Amplus on other rifles and by far the best was the Delta Titanium. I sold it along with a 243 and still wish I had kept it.
There is a 2.5-15 X 56mm in the classifieds for sale £450 which is a sensible price for a 2nd hand Delta :) (nothing to do with me either, I just think they are decent )

The two most popular and effective brands are Delta and Sightron. The key is to have one with a low base mag and side parallax adjustment, 2nd focal plane not first. Ive personally never used a Delta, but they are very good with add on's and some have a real low base mag. I do use sightrons, current on on my hunting .223 is the STAC 4 - 20 X50 SFP with MOA reticle and its a cracking scope with a Pard add on, plus its pretty good glass to use on the range as well.

Hi, I would like to buy delta titanium HD 4-24x50 (I prefer 4-24x50 rather than 2,5-15x56 for daytime). Using with pard 007 (or Vulpine mk3) there is big differences between 2,5-15x56 and 4-24x50? I dont use it at close range so i dont need 2,5 x but 56 mm is a lot bettere than 50 mm for light transmission or it is qiute the same? Thanks

Not hardly any difference between 50 & 56mm for light transmission, I've had both at the same time, although I now have two of the 2.5-15x56, using them with a 16mm lens Pard007 which has some built-in magnification, if you get a 12mm lens Pard007 the 4-20 will be fine as it has no added magnification. The 4x and 16mm Pard was a poor field of view for me.

I use a 4-24 Delta with a Mk3 Vulpine and Wraith IR, superb setup
