Best Scopes for NV/Thermal Clip Ons?

I've just ordered a Rifle for some Foxing and have been rather lucky and won the Optics Warehouse Optics Draw and bagged myself a HikMicro Cheetah LRF.

Now I was looking around for a scope for said new Rifle and in my head I was thinking at some point in the future I may opt for a NV or Thermal add on, but now that I've lucked into one I figured I should get the scope right from the start..

What are you looking for in a scope to use with these types of add ons?

I'm aware it ideally needs to be low Magnification, but what about Parralax, Illumination to help see the ret? First or Second Focal?
