May well have been covered to death....but
What do you recommend for use with a pard add on within a £300 ish budget ?
My Zeiss, nightforce and minox don't give what I was hoping for with the pard, I don't use it a huge amount ( hence budget)
Any experience or thoughts appreciated
Thanks

Redfield battlezone ....calibre specific (turrets) .223 or .308 3x9x42 or better still 6x18x44....If you can find one.

Good luck, Buck.

P'S Swillingtons have the 3x9x42. :doh:oops out of stock.

If you want one of, if not the, best scopes currently available to use with the Pard add-on, then spend some more on the Sightron S-Tac 4-20x50 with MOA reticle.

You can possibly squeeze a bit of discount out of Optics Warehouse or wait for one of their 10% off promotions.

It's a decent day scope as well.

Someone more knowledgable than me might be abl cot comment further but I thought that th coatings on meoptas and leupold weren't that good with nv. I also think you might struggle to get new ones for under £300. I would say to stick with Hawke as they all seem to be good with nv and £300 will get you something like a sidewinder or endurance.

That’s what I thought. Seems that some piles in on threads such as this to recommend their own favourite scope, without any actual experience or knowledge of it being suitable for digital NV add-ons!

I’ve had the ward add on and now the pard add on and tried Leupolds vx3 , mk4 and they are poor , great glass ( which is the problem) and px only at 50 m , tried hawkes , Mtc, sughtron Stac 2.5-17x56 ( superb) but expensive. In all honesty I’ve changed all my scopes to the new hawke AirMax scopes , with the pard they are superb and during the day they are very clear , highly recommended , in built ir good for 150 yards no problem and crystal clear

Just for the record i’ve Had plenty of experience with hawke scopes and Nv so I know they work well. Looks like I was right about the leups too

This is what I use I have 3, that price is a bit tasty though, they were around 270-299 new. I bought one secondhand at £160 and another, last week, at £120 collected though that was cheap. All 4-16x50 LR dot.

Really excellent with the ward so they would be with the pard, and they don’t have target turrets like the majority of SF air rifle scopes in that bracket so they don’t take up too much room in the safe
