Bino Harness and Z aim sling advice

Morning,

I love my Z aim sling. It leaves both hands free and keeps the muzzle under control this makes for an easy carry and good safety.

I am fed up with binos swinging about and don't like using the bumbag for other kit. I could get all I need in a harness and drop bum bag. I thought a harness was out of the question due to the Zed Aim sling going cross over the body but I have seen posts on here indicating people are using both. Can anyone confirm I can make this work using the 2 together? do you work the sling below or above the harness, can you get at the release clip ok?

Thank you
David

I use a Z Aim and a chest harness. No problem at all. If anything, less awkward than free hanging binos.

For binoculars i use a home made 1" webbing + wide elastic strap with "click" webbing connector pair. Just tuck the binos under the strap when you dont want it to move about or dangle. The binos just have their ordinary neck strap.
Nice, cheap and uncomplicated.

got this on Google. didn't get as far as check out. I will leave that to you. Pardon if you have tried google and they are not available / in stock. Another option on the same theme is bestfoxcall do the gun safety strap you add to a conventional gun sling it was recommended to me by a stalking mate but I have no first hand experience of them.

Sorry to jump in on your thread but is anyone aware of if or where Z aim slings available.

Cheers

Ade
They aren’t. No longer made.

Options are Roetex, Praesidia, Napier and Topnotch.

Of those, I think the Napier is closest to the original design, while the Praesidia is probably the ‘best’ in terms of quality and functionality.

It is possible but the main issue is that the chest strap on the Z-Aim and other variants is not very long. I'm 183cm tall and wear a size Large top and struggle to get the chest strap fitting comfortably with a bino harness. It's almost impossible with warm winter clothes on.

This is why I made my own slings as I could add in a longer chest strap and adjust where it meets the main sling better.

l use a Z-Aim together with a Kuiu bino harness. I’m typically a Size L in tops. l have no problem using them in conjunction with one another.

Unfortunately when you try to add it to your basket it comes up out-of-stock. Thanks anyway 👍

Thanks everyone. It sounds to me based on your kind responses that the 2 items together will work fine.
