Blaser aftermarket barrels

Has any one had a Blaser barrel made with with an aftermarket barrel sleeve? I know some gunsmiths have renewed barrels by cutting an original and screw threading it. But I’m in the market for 2 potentially and don’t have any to sacrifice.

Dunno about that but I could sell you an R93 barrel in 243 if you like.

I’m after an 8x57 in R93 so that’s a possibility. PM me for a price. For what it’s worth the other barrel I’m after is for an R8 in 7mm-300 WM.

I Enquired with him as well he's got a license to make his own stubbs and he puts custom barrel on, price was more than a blaser barrel but that included the reamer i think. Was thinking of 22x47 he was good to deal with

The Russian company that does the R8 chassis at 55,000 roubles around £600 but when I enquired they wanted 250 euros for delivery - ouch !

Did you contact them directly? I’ve sent a few emails and never had a response. After this failure I spoke to Dolphin Gun Company, thinking they'd have a more direct line, but they said B&A where a nightmare to deal with basically. They said they’d tried contacting them about these stubs also but without success. This was about a year ago however. I gave up, and my work kicked in and left it alone. Now trying to pick it back up again.

If you get your hands on either of the items I linked in the OP you can have whatever barrel you like. Otherwise raven arms do. I’d like a Proof Research barrel for my R8 if possible personally.

Yeah they replied fairly quick. If you want carbon barrel get shot out blaser barrel for the stub. My pal put custom barrel on years ago the blaser metal is very hard !!

They seem to become a serious player in the market .
The barrel nut ala Savage looks a nice feature for easy head space adjustment.
