Blaser R8 sling swivels?

Having bought my nice new blaser.... got home and gone to put my niggeloh sling on...... and it doesn’t fit.... bloody annoying! So..... what’s my options??! Apart from spending £90-110 on a blaser sling! I wouldn’t mind except I have 3 nice slings already? Any advice/ options?

Run a drill through the studs, that's what I and a load of others have done.

Jakele sling swivels if you don’t want to drill out the studs. Try Swillingtons.

In Europe (geographically, not politically) Blaser guns are fitted with EU sling studs (6mm wide, 3mm hole). You seem to have US swivels which are 8mm wide and have a 3.6 mm pin.
Drilling out the studs works but will lead to slack with the swivel being a constant source of a rattling noise.

If you write a mail to Blaser they will send you the studs of your choice for free. That's how it has worked for me twice.

Bought the blaser sling begrudgingly must admit it doesn't slip about like some ive had in the past Malmo was cheapest I found at £75

In my case it was Blaser Germany.
If the UK colleagues are less cooperative, you should also be able to source the parts for a few quid from any dealer. Now you know what you‘re looking for.
