Blaser R93 Bolt removal problem

Hello,

has anyone struggled to get the bolt out of an R93? I press the button in but can’t seem to get it to slide out. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Give the wee rotary plastic magazine insert a squeeze with finger and thumb, this should let the slide past the point of no return.

Depending on your calibre..... there’s a ‘catch’ at back of the magazine that needs depressing allowing the bolt to come back further before the button on top takes effect....

The bit with the shiny screw head......just enough room on my .243 to get a thumbnail onto it, but only just
