Sorry for the late response chaps.. Vipaboy you sound like a Blaser media spin doctor with all that patter you`ve wrote. Obviously you love the keyboard as much as the Blaser brand.
You are not affiliated, authorised or have been appointed as a spoke`s man have you?
In fact your just a self proclaimed expert by having owned just three of there products. Which of those you test out on the range and the one rifle with ample free floating barrel space you couldn't shoot for ****,lol.
Your what normal people would call a Blaser nut case..
Now I`ll repeat again but this time I`ll put it in big letter`s so you can read it better without being mistaken.
Blaser stocks flex at the fore end with very little effort when using a bipod. It will affect accuracy if the stock makes contact with the barrel..
Now that said I will tell you another part of the story..
I contacted my Blaser dealer the day after I had shot the gun (Pro Success stock) standard barrel and industry standard calibre for stalking.
A polite conversation took place . I informed him of my finding`s that the stock was a very tight fit along the barrel length and under the barrel at the fore end. When fitted with a bipod the stock was actually touching under the barrel. I went on to say that when on un even ground when levelling the gun up on the bipod the sides of the stock were flexing and touching the barrel. Hence the wild groups that I was getting.
As an experienced Blaser affiliated dealer he gave a 10 out of 10 response.. He said I will send another stock down to you tomorrow by courier and I will contact you within an hour of its delivery time.
Shoot the gun with the new stock and let me know if its ok.
I did try the gun with the new stock which just so happened to be milled out to take a Match barrel.
Well I put three in the same hole at just over 100 yards. Just to make sure I tried it the day after and put four almost in the same hole at 150 yards using the bipod.
The stock still flexed but it couldn't touch the barrel.
He was informed the day after and in the same conversation he stated that a lot of the Pro success stocks were arriving with a very tight fitting.
In fact his words were very very tight.
Anyway the guns do carry a warranty as you all will know and up to yet there back up and support of there product up to yet has been second to none.
My Bumhole stock is currently with Blaser being altered and when I do receive it back it will still flex but hopefully not that much to touch the barrel..
So my moral of the story is go straight to the people who know about the product and not to self proclaimed experts who think they know..
Hope this helps your decision McHugh
