Bloody air guns....

My new Kral maxi is bloody leaking 🤦
Sooo want to fix it myself but it's new and ought to go back. It's leaking at the inlet and it looks an easy job.
Bugger bugger bugger...
Any one here done one of these?

If you do decide to do it yourself then it’s a doddle, there are service kits available for all Kral models with a full set of O rings. Just put a bit of silicone grease on the O rings to help them assemble without nipping.

I should add that the PCPs I’ve done were all Air Arms, but they’re all essentially the same.

Why are you even considering a diy fix? If it’s started leaking so soon after you got it then odds are it’ll start leaking again not long after you have fitted new genuine parts to it, & again, & again, & again… send it back, get a refund & buy something old & British made instead of cheap foreign carp!!

I've seen British airguns fail. Don't assume this is a new thing to me!
The inlet valve may of been subject to a foreign body which can befall any make of pre charged air gun.

Yep...springers all the way.
I still have my Weirauch HW35E that was a Christmas present when I must have only been about 12. Some years ago I sent it away to get a tuning kit fitted and when it came back I could not believe the difference, it was so smooth but with more power than when it was new.
It's now just a cabinet queen because I almost never use an air rifle any more, and when I did it was the AA S410.

I keep meaning to have a look at the rat situation when I drive through the farmyard after foxing because the wifey has her hens in the lambing shed. Would be an ideal chance to get the old girl out the cabinet.

Due back onshore tomorrow and planning on foxing early next week depending on weather, will have a scan round the shed with the thermal.

PS Just found the invoice for the tune up, 2009.
