I have been holding forth for the last few weeks about what a great trip to Croatia that I had in November & was brought back down with a bump today when the postman arrived (yes!) with a letter from the Croatian Police with a speeding fine in it. Great! I think that it is paid & not worth the risk to have my collar felt on arrival next year for non payment. Those to blame are the hire company for giving me the very fast Audi Q3 rather than my budget selection & my navigator for not spotting the camera….
