Bone saw advice

Alas we are all not as experienced as you by the sound of it, as for a 6x42 scope have to agree a 4x40 was the go to for many stalkers before all the hype, god knows how people managed with open sights and killed more deer than most of us will ever see.
Unbelievable! So, how many deer will most of us see and how many deer did the long since dead stalkers who you also didn't know shoot with their open sights?

Yes i do remove fur and muck before sawing the bone. Apologies I dont know why I wrote that.

I still don't like opening the ribs in the field or small saws though. Tell you what if @Freightdog wants my saw, pls pm me and I'll post it FOC? Its gathering dust.

Perhaps you should read some of the books by some of the Nz cullers using open sighted 303, they were allowed 3 full metal jackets per deer, they would go into the bush for months shot upto 20 per day skin them , dry the skins and pack them out. Bush hunters here often use opensights, I even did it using a 357 leveraction. As you are on this forum and reply I assume you have the ability to read, try it sometime.
