Boot care

Hi all,
Currently wearing Lowa boots for most of my shooting what do you guys recommend for leather care and waterproofing?

Another vote for Leder gris, with an occasional dose of Extreme if the the leather is starting to dry out due to lots of cycles of wet one day, dry over night, wet again the next day etc.
Never force dry your boots by putting them somewhere warm or you will Bggr the leather, stuff them with newspaper leave for 10mins and repeat as required and apply Leder gris whilst the leather is still slightly damp.

Used to use Paul Sullivan leather care, but it turned out he was a crook and would take your money and not send you anything. I'm on to leder gris and leader Glos much better product too.
was he? thats a shame as i have also used his leather care and its really good.

Sadly I ordered his kennel cleaner 2 years ago after a few follow ups I was told they didn't have any and no offer of a refund. I asked for one and I've been ghosted ever since. A friend had ordered a collar for his new pup. It's never arrived either, and no apology or refund after numerous attempts at contacting him. A victim of his own success or can't be arsed with the small orders. Not buying from him again.

For the leather parts of my shooting boots I use a small amount of "dubbin" thus far it has served me well! Does this mean I'm a dinosaur? :)

I like the NikWax cleaning product for leather boots - works well to get stubborn dirt off.

I’ve used the NikWax cream for leather boots and find it works well.

Recently I’ve been experimenting with making my own - lanolin and coconut oil. Seems to work well but I haven’t found the right ratio just yet…

Scarpa boot treatment. Hydrophane if boots get very dried out. Good to waterproof leather boots.

Yes it is but pot size decreased by 20% and cost up dramatically.
However a small amount goes a v long way. I was shocked when I got some more at a show this autumn.
