Has anyone tried Anatom boots? Sport pursuit have Q3 rannoch which are meant to be £300 but have 40% off.....

I picked up a pair of the tallest black islander boots I’ve been impressed so far but only used for three months and wouldn’t feel comfortable completely recommending boots unless they’re over a year old. Insole wasn’t much good though but that doesn’t bother me as I’m a superfeet fan.
otherwise I’ve used scarpa mantas with yeti gaiters in winter and la sportiva Nepal boots (they used to be a lot cheaper than they are now)
I had a pair of the wonderful extreme cold weather boots that were ex mod but they are held together now with more glue than boot.

Id just like to point out cotswold outdoor are big supporters of packham. Was a fan till I heard that, never been back

I have Lundhags and they are still waterproof and now 12 - 15 year old so are not expensive!!!!
Yes the prices have risen since I bought mine around the £225 mark but I would still class them as VFM.
The Haix get my vote for convenience and ease of getting on and off but this is with goretex waterproofing so depends on your personal thoughts on that.
Lundhags don't rely on Goretex.

I have had two pair of these and both pairs where brilliant, comfy out of the box and stayed waterproof in the Scottish weather, only downside is if you don’t feed the leather they crack, so they do take some looking after but a very nice boot at very little money

Ive had diotto for years with no issues, and bought a pair of dedito to try which seem really comfortable and thick end of £100 cheaper!! .miendle skibo looked good last time I was in bruar but getting towards £300

Altberg Peacekeepers in brown. Better than defenders and still made in 
The Barningham, I am lead to believe, is a ' dress boot ' version of the Raby and isn't available in as many width options, Thats what I was told when trying them on in the factory shop anyway.
I have the Raby boots, or gamekeeper as they used to be called, and I absolutely love them. When I first had them I had a really quiet but bloody annoying squeak from one of the soles, quick phone call and I sent them back, they couldn't find an issue but didn't want to give up so they got someone from their office with the same size feet as me and had him walking around until they heard the squeak! turns out it was most probably just the way I walk and compress the sole but not an issue as far as manufacturing was concerned. However, they went on to replace the Raby soles with the Barningham sole for absolutly zero pounds and zero pence AND even covered the postage back to me!!!
That was a long winded way of saying you can have the Barningham sole on the Raby if you ask!!!
A company that, in my opinion, deserves every penny spent with them, I would never feel the need to look elsewhere now and you are supporting British manufacturing......

ive had similar customer experience with them a D shaped eye pop out just the loop not the bit in the boot. Sent them back and the replace the eye let and soles FOC and had them back to in Iraq with 2 weeks.
