Always seen and heard it but I have absolutely no idea who runs it!

Some excellent drives out the back of Welton and around woodale Manor by the looks of things

Did not know it still existed as a shoot. The main Brantingham dale, (fully wooded) was sold to one of those woodland ownership companies which then split it into very small lots and sold these off. So I could never see the main part ever being a shoot again.

I used to love it down there, I used to look after one if the woods with my dad on behalf of the lovely owner. And next door was a another guy who loved the place and used to take real care of his wood aswell.

Used to go camping and all sorts untill the man who owned it had to sell it due to ill health. Went to someone who has no clue about woodland management other than its a tax loop hole, it's an absolute mess now. Got a crappy hand written note through the letter box saying not to enter to wood as it's his now.

Put so much effort into getting a fence up along the road and stopping motor cross bikes wreking the place and taking out the diseased trees. Shame.
