Brattonsound - is it something I said?

Not sure it is straight forward replacement since the safe has multi point losking mechanism. If I could I probably would.

Fairly straightforward to swap like for like - open the door, then take the back of the door off (~4 small screws). This exposes the mechanism. You then need to undo the bolts that hold the lock on its mounting bracket and then wiggle it free of the bit of sheet metal that drives the locking pins. I seem to remember there was a bolt you could loosen to make this easier but can't remember exactly where it was to describe on here - it was fairly obvious on the inside though.

I meant straight replacement with electronic lock rather than replacement Brattonsound lock. It's that connection that would have to work if I was to install the electronic lock.

Just buy a replacement lock. Keep the old lock n key in case you need a spare.
