I'm relatively new to deer stalking, based in Scotland, and currently in the early stages of getting properly set up. I've recently completed my DSC1 and have been on a few paid stalks. I'm currently progressing through the firearms application process—I've had my interview and, all being well, hope to receive my certificate soon. After some research and consideration, I’ve opted for the 6.5mm Creedmoor, as it seems a sensible and future-proof choice, especially with the shift towards non-toxic ammunition.
