Leave the poor wild boar alone, what harm have they done you.

Well for a start they have piggy little eyes and they smell. I'm having a bit of boar for dinner this evening and although the boar never did me any harm I'm sure it will be very tasty. So good enough reason to shoot it

The Wild boar became extinct in this country hundreds of years ago and has now been re introduced but for some reason people think they are there to be shot and killed. I don't want to sound like a spoilsport but surely these creatures should be left alone to get on with their lives without the fear of being hunted, so would you hunters please not hurt them and find something nicer to do with your lives. I am not here to cause any trouble but wish to point out the cruelty involved here so please listen to what I have said.
Can somebody get him his coat.:cuckoo:

No, let's be rational here. Not everyone understands what we do or why we do it.
The species of large mammals that thrive in the UK these days are generally the ones that are hunted, and that's no coincidence. UK hunters are ethical ecologists. We monitor populations, and cull accordingly, in order to ensure that valuable habitats aren't damaged by overpopulations. We cull the weak and the sick, to ensure that the remaining population is healthy and enjoys good breeding success. We also cull in areas of human / wildlife conflict, for example to prevent road accidents, or to prevent the spread of disease to domestic livestock.
Without ethical hunters, and the value that hunting adds, large animals such as boar wouldn't be tolerated by landowners and would be wiped out indescriminatley by inhumane means.
That's what people like andrewtwelvetrees772 need to be told. No good if all we do is rant about antis.

No i don't want to listen to what you say I will argue with anybody about the control and management of wild boar if they at least bother to research the subject. You are completely ignorant of the subject, so not worth listening too.

andrewtwelvetrees772 this is an advert for a legal activity under UK law, if you wish to have a discussion over the current situation of wild boar in the UK, please start a thread in the correct section. Hijacking an advert in this way is against site rules.

Ade,
This idiot twelvetrees is the same person alfiemarley and Co. He is obviously a deluded individual who has nothing else better to do. Banned again :D
