Anyone else had any trouble with them? I bought a stock off them. Quoted £100 including postage but took £110 out. I didn’t bother saying anything but the wrong stock turned up. Sent it back nearly a month ago for a refund, and still no refund. No reply to emails. No one ever answers the phone. And to make it worse because it’s a 0845 number it costs a fortune every time I try and call. It put about £10 on my bill last month

No not at all. While I've only had limited contact with Mike and the company I found him is an absolute gent to deal with and never had any problems contacting him either by email or by phone. Friends who have had far more contact have also said the same, and with all due respect to Mike the only complaint with Mike if you can call it that is that he is far too friendly and likes to talk and a quick two minute conversation can turn into a 30 minute chat.
I can only think that he is very busy in the workshop and that for some reason there is nobody available to answer the phone.

Hopefully that’s all it is. But just seems strange that I’ve nit heard anything. I was Talking to someone the other day and he mentioned he sent a rifle off to be rebarrelled and now can’t get hold of him. Maybe he’s on holiday

While we are on the subject does anyone knows what happened to the raffle rifle they were collecting £5 per entry at the Kelso Deer Stalking Fair? as i have bought a few tickets and now i can not even find the thread on their facebook page? thanks Rob

Raytrade along with Brock and Norris donated the rifle but who actually ran the raffle? The contact details will be on your ticket Robek if it was a registered lottery but possibly not if it was a simple raffle run on the day for those attending.

There was actually no receipt ticket given simply give the lady £5 at the B&N stand fill out your details on a ticket and put it in the box .... facebook post relating this said tickets will be available for a month then draw and will be announced. I even remember that when actually holding the rifle and talking to a bearded gentleman at the Norrris stand he stated that he will hand deliver the rifle to the winner .... now a month is up and all gone very quite ....

Good morning Nathan . cost of the stock was 100.00 not including postage . Stock Supplied was as you requested and was test fitted with an action from stock . Obviously it was not what you wanted : you delayed in returning the stock to us by more than three weeks , as you stated in your letter you were out of the country working . and it was only received the very end of last week and refunds are only carried out after receipt of goods . . Admin and dispatch is only done once a week due to work load and the phone is answered after 15.00 hrs as I am flat out trying to peoples work done . As for phone costs there is an o1948 821041 number thats on both our website and FB page . Plus if you were not connected how were you charged ? Cheque went out of here yesterday . My apologies for any inconvenience but may I respectfully suggest that try email or SMS message and we will reply promptly .yours respectfully Mike Norris

Without getting into an argument 1st of May is not the very end of last week. As for the stock. Well I asked for an action iv. It didn’t fit. I have since tried another action iv. And it did fit. I can only assume you have a different action iv than my one and the other one I tried.

I was charged because it goes to your answer phone. Unfortunately the reason for this post is that I know of others having similar issues with you. As I say. I don’t want an arguement a refund will do and we can leave it there

Hello sir .there were delays I understand with setting up the Facebook payment account . This is what I was informed by Mr Brian Lisle . Yes when the draw is made I WILL deliver the rifle personally . If you have concerns over the draw please contact Brian Lisle either on SD or via The Deer Stalking Fair on FB. As I have stated I built and Donated the rifle but I am Not responsible for the administration of the draw . My history for supporting charity through rifle builds is well documented . The rifle is ready and awaiting its new owner and once that draw is made it will bee in its new owners hands as soon as is convenient to the new owner . If the owner has the caliber on his ticket will be there the next day delivered personally by me , I am awaiting the winners name from Mr Lisle who will publish I presume on FB and on SD . yours respectfully Mike Norris

Never had a problem with Mike Norris and have always found him to be a really good guy to deal with. The high standard of his work means he is in great demand hence always working and not easy to get on the phone.

In that case it looks like it wasn't a lottery registered with the local council and more like a simple "informal" raffle drawn on the day, so it was possibly only announced at the event. I'm sure the show organisers will be able to give you the information you want.

A few years ago totally out of the blue David at BASC contacted me and donated a Browning X-bolt rifle to be raffled in aid of H4H, the draw to take place at the H4H sporting shoot. Many of the site members then pitched in including Dane & Co who donated a moderator and several others who donated a sling and other goodies to add to the package. Due to the value of the prize I thought that it would be better to formalise it by registering it with the council and getting the tickets printed rather than just an informal raffle that we had held previously. It was a bit of a palaver but I'm glad that I did it that way even if it did cost me personally a lot more as I then needed to attend a couple of game fairs and shooting events to sell the tickets if the value of the prize was to be fully realised. Under the conditions of the lottery it would have been quite legal for me to recover my expenses from the monies collected but I never did, as we have always been proud of the fact that all monies collected have always gone directly to H4H and that we have always born any costs involved ourselves. In fact that goes the same for all the site members who have been involved with the shoot and all those that have donated so freely over the years to the H4H shoot.
I dare say that its cost Raytrade and Brock & Norris a fair bit to donate that rifle to the Doogie fund.

When I needed help due to bad workmanship by another , Mike was the only one that stepped up to correct and re-due and spend the time on the lath and fix my rifle, All this being at silly o'clock and well before he was due to open the store for trade . The work done saved me having to pay out for another rifle :tiphat: so all I can say is thank you feller as My dealings with Mike have been first class .
