Probably just another mug who should have purchsed elsewhere but 15 (fifteen) days since placing order and no sign of item having even made it to these shores?

Hi,
I think that is about their timescale.
I usually get an email informing me when something ordered through Brownells leaves the USA.
Ken.

I buy Barnes bullets for my 30-30 from brownells and I find you just have to roll with it, I can’t find fault with them personally!

i have giving up buying from brownells uk their inline muzzle loading stuff is non existant and and what they do advertise is always on backorder, buy direct from us suppliers or evilbay

Dear Mr. Klenchblaize,

As you are aware all orders are shipped from Brownells USA but only once aweek hence the lead time, normally we achieve delivery in 5-7 working days after dispatch (see our delivery information page on the website: https://www.brownells.co.uk/Delivery-information ).Your order missed the cut-off for dispatch the week you placed your order and shipped on the next consignment on the 13[SUP]th[/SUP].

Unfortunately, the UK shooting market is too small to hold over 80,000 products in stock, therefore we have to ‘drop ship’ from Brownells USA (this is done for all the European Partners, Brownells France Germany etc). All prices include duty, vat and excise.

Your order should be with you this week, anytime from tomorrow onwards.

Kind regards,

Managing Director
Brownells (UK) Limited

You’re not the only one. Just purchased items off of their site following mailing list offer but despite checking at every stage that it was Brownells UK (and not USA) that I was dealing with a) it took 3 days before I received order confirmation (obviously got usual automated ‘your order has been received’ at time of order but talking about actual confirmation/acceptance by company) and b) only at this point did they state that the goods were being back ordered from USA! Not good enough IMO and deliberately misleading. If the goods are coming direct from the US this should be clearly stated at time of order so that customers can make informed choice as to whether this suits their needs. Rubbish service!

yup. That's the way it is.

I have ordered spares for a few guns for myself and some friends and they do take a long time to arrive... But there isn't anywhere else that I can get them from.

Their delivery times are posted on their website, if you don't like it get your stuff from somewhere else.
