Morning S - I know you boys up there like your pennies - a wire stripper set of pliers does pretty much all calibers. Just put the bullet in the case holder on your press, remove the die, raise the bullet through the die hole, grasp bullet with pliers and pull lever…
The Hornady one that fits in your press and has different collets for different calibres is a good one. If used properly, the bullets are unmarked, and it's pretty quick.
I have both a kinetic hammer and a Hornady collet bullet puller. The bullet puller is neater and cleaner and doesn’t take repeated whacking of the hammer. It also is just more ‘clinical and efficient’
But there are times where I reload something a midge too short and then I reach for the kinetic hammer - a few blows to lengthen COAL again, then back through the die for a second attempt.
I have a full set of collet jobbies and find them shiiite.
I use the kinetic from RCBS which is fine but sadly the aluminium case grippers wear out too fast, now I just put the reloading press shell holder into the kinetic which works and will not wear out.
