Camera tripod to Picatinny rail adapter

Hello guys ,

Anyone aware of any company producing a picatinny rail with a 1/4 20 thread in the middle to attach to a tripod ?
Had a look online , could only find 3d printed soluitons ( dont have one of those [Yet!] ) or form the states .
Anything closer to home ?

I thought of buying a rail and tapping it but i am not sure how much thread lenght i will actually get .

Buy a rail from ANT supplies and then drill it and tap it - you'll have more than enough thread to attach it to a tripod with any fear of stripping the threads
