Camping stove ?

I have a little lightweight Coleman one. However, if buying again, I would probably consider a Jetboil.

Kind regards,

Carl
The alpkit "jetboil" is only 39 quid and half the price of the real deal .Works very well and the canister fits in the cup so not bulky at all .

For hiking camping, I seem to always come back to the Trangia 27. With duosal pans (not sold new, but available if you dig.)

Wife and I cycled up from Spain on the Vélodyssée section of EuroVelo Route 1 last summer and, as space and weight were at a premium, took the small Trangia gas burner and fold flat windshield/pan support - used Sea to Summit X-Set 32 cook set for the same reason.

Knowing that we might run into problems sourcing the correct gas canisters en-route, I invested in a couple of adapters, one to use those aerosol type cans and another that acts as a resealable valve on the single used Camping Gaz cartridges. Just as well we had them as we didn’t see a single Coleman type valved canister in the whole trip.

Depends what you want but we have a Cadac safari chef.
Brilliant bit of kit. Will do everything g you want it for.
Packs to a size of a dinner plate diameter but about 8-1 inches high. Choice of gas.

We used to get a good fried breakfast ,bacon beans eggs, and a brew, with army solid fuel hexamine stove.
If you havnt got to carry it on your back then the Halfords portable gas is just fine and cleaner. (1/2 price at present).

£10 type from Halfrauds.
KISS.

Its like asking engineers at work how to make a cupa.
A week later they come up with a plan.
There's been mention of £100 stoves, the chaps whants a bacon butty and a cupa tea. Hes not going up Everest.

This ...

I got 2 from a game fair for £8 each about 5 years ago and they both had 4 cans of gas included !

On my younger years I spent more nights in a bivvy carp fishing than at home and I lived with a single burner Colman petrol stove, absolutely bomb proof!
