Canted image, hikmicro alpex

Hi all

Looking for some advice. I've recently had a hikmicro alpex, and maybe I'm being stupid but when the scope and ret are straight, my image through the scope is quite badly canted. I.e looking at a brick wall the wall slopes away at an angle. I can't for the life of me work out to correct the image, or if it's possible?
Is this a defective unit?

That is with the rectangle screen of the scope aligned with the rifle and all vertically upright

Screen isn’t sitting flush in the housing. Send it back

Okay, so I'm not going mad then. I thought I might be being a plonker.

It's not the screen but camera not being straight. Otherwise reticle woul be canted too.
