Case neck cleaning

I'm cleaning up some once fired hornady brass before I start to reload. I've got a rotary tumbler and plan to stick with it. Just wondering what people recommend to give the necks a clean up?
I've tried fine wire wool and drill but it doesn't seem to shift it all that much.
Does it even matter or is it just aesthetics?

For stalking ammo I'm not sure the deer notice. If I didn't wet tumble I'd scrub the insides with a brush.

Unless you are shooting precision long range - the following also applies:-

For the inside I use a pro shot brush in a drill .
The outside I use brasso on a cotton rag, one at a time ...
Been doing it for 30 years ...no problems....
