Hello All my DSC1 certificate and badge has just arrived. I am overjoyed. Thanks again to all involved and your support guys, including supporters of this site, Jason from @cotswold.shooting and Mike from Calton Moor Ranges.

Hopefully I can work on improving my fitness levels now , although I now realise prone shooting is no longer a option due to past injuries.

I am planning to get some shooting practice in before going stalking. 👍😁

Did you do the lantra at the same time as your DSC1.
Done my DSC1 in august 22 we never got a Lantra cert who done your DSC1 TRAINING
Completed my DSC1 with BASC in Wadhurst
Now need further training and find a course in the south east

Nice when you get the cert and badge and know you passed 👍

@bottletopbill Yes I signed up for the Lantra test in Wild Game Meat Hygiene when I found out I had been fortunate enough to be sponsored by members of the stalking directory to undergo the DSC1 at Kettering with the British Deer Society.
However I failed the shooting test with a catastrophic two foot group in the prone position. It really knocked my confidence.
I did a reshoot and I was super happy to finally get my Certificate and Badge albeit a little later than advertised 😊.

Congratulations on the DSC1 but what happened on the shooting test to produce a two foot group was it nerves on your part or a kit malfunction just interested to know as these things happen.
