CFMoto 450

Just watched CF Moto win the Moto3 race in Italy
Followed by KTM , whose engines are made by ,,,,,, yup ! CF Moto

So dominating racing then.
The KTM moto 3 and other sub brands engines are made in house at KTM's plant in Munderfing, Austria. Designed by Wolfgang Felber.

Anyone have any direct experience with these quads? High spec' for the money, and a 2-year guarantee. I've read mixed reviews on them, myself. Under £6k for a brand new 450 seems pretty decent, but if they're not up to it I'm happy to go for a used branded quad. Needing a second quad around the place now that the old KLF is beginning to wobble 🤔

Just bought one as the Yamaha frame finally succumbed to the tin worm, so far so good, I would imagine that in a few years time they will hold their price once established

I've just completely rebuilt my old Kawasaki, so it's up for sale now. New bike will hopefully be here tomorrow, and I can't wait to see how it tries out

I had a chat with a few manufacturers at the highland show
Suzuki. £10k no fancy trimmings 2yr warranty

Kawasaki £10k plus vat no accessories 2yr warranty

Can am. About £13 k. For the bare machine 2 yr warranty
Polaris same

Honda 12k or more bare machine same warranty

CF moto 8k with winch tow bar full road kit already registered for the road 2 yrs warranty

Build quality was the same throughout, maybe Kawasaki looked a little worse than most

CF Moto have more dealers than anyone else as well .

Top selling bike in Europe now apparently. Think they might be the next big player the way things are going.

Have you seen the prices of their bikes ?
I’d say the competition better get ready to charge lots less.
It'd be about time, too! £10k for a 400cc farm bike is ridiculous. And when you see the technology and features CFMoto are packing into their bikes at half that cost and with similar quality it makes me wonder what the established players are actually doing to provide that value. New bike should be here tomorrow hopefully, so I'll be sure to put up a few photos

My Father in law got one from a dealer who does Honda and CF, the CF is bar far the best value, allow wheels power steering ect tow hitch, dealer also registered it on the road at no additional cost. No complaints or issues to share

One thing to bear in mind is that quads now come speed restricted for road use.... so ask your dealer if once it's arrived if it can be de restricted for off road/ag use only ;)
40mph restricted ...

40mph restricted ...
Never heard of that and know a few that have them on the road .

You sure that’s a thing ?

I wondered. It'll be T3b registered, so restricted to a maximum of 40mph if used on the road. I can't figure out if it's an actual physical limiter though, or a legal speed limit 🤔

I think it's a relatively recent thing.
I have a CanAm traxter (buggy type thing) which I bought maybe 5 years ago (?) and that's unrestricted but all the subsequent ones supplied by the same dealership were restricted, iirc.
It's a physical restriction, not just a legal thing.

Won't bother me one iota. I reckon 40mph is more than fast enough for me
