So over the last couple of months I’ve been considering to change my stock on my tikka t3x from the original green adjustable cheek piece stock to a wooden classic rifle look.
After putting some posts about it on here I was sent many an invite to purchase a wooden stock. Although some were battered and some wouldn’t budge on the price for their not so good stocks, I was messaged by a gentleman in regards to my post. Finally we found the one. This particular chap had the best stock I could find and for that I couldn’t resist it. We had a winner. After many restless nights due to our newest member of the family. I finally managed to get out this afternoon with it fitted for half an hour. Bore sighted first to check point of aim (bottom left) then shot a 3 shot group, adjusted to suit. Shot one in the green circle, then proceeded to shoot another 3 shot group. All shot at 100yards It’s perfect, to me you can’t really beat a classic wooden stalking rifle. This will do me well, chuffed!! 6.5PRC for reference
