As an annual visitor to UK I filled it in . My issue is that I am required to return my original visitors cert for my host to renew the cert. This years renewal took 3 months, during which I could not have taken up a last minute invite should one have occurred. I note that NI do not require return of the original and that copy of EFP is sufficient. This year when Durham returned my EFP they attached a note saying a photo copy would be acceptable in future.
Its probably no consolation to you that this side of the Irish sea the administration of firearms licensing is even more idiosyncratic and that there is absolutely no evidence of training in same.
