Cheek-eez adhesive riser pads

Anyone used these or any other adhesive cheek riser pads? I need approx 8mm of rise to get a better cheek weld and looking for a reasonably tidy solution.
Most of the tactical style cheek risers seem to be considerably higher and looking for something a bit smarter than (current) foam and black tape!

It’s a thumb hole synthetic stock (asymmetrical and the right hand side is quite “hollow”) so looking for an adhesive pad option rather than the wrap-around style. cheers

Comb raiser like this?

I bought one from a chap on Etsy, not sure if that is the cheek-Eez. A bit of thick plastic sheet moulded to fit and you attach Velcro to fix it in positition. easy to fit and has worked well for a year now. Just make sure you can get the bolt out before you finalise position. Much more natural position to view through scope and keeps sight picture better as my head isn’t lifting off the stock.

You can also buy a simple moulded rubber cheek piece of your preferred height, and mate it to the comb of your stock with self adhesive Velcro type tape, one part to each mating surface, or go 'full Michael Rainback'. Both can be done tidily, and are quick/simple to remove/lower when you feel the need to remove the bolt, if it is otherwise obstructed by the raised cheekpiece.

Shame a wrap around won’t work as 8mm is quite a distance. I got a neoprene sleeve with foam inserts. The sleeve is tight to the stock and you add inserts until it is spot on. Works a treat.

For such a lovely stock (Lazzeroni Thumb-Hole Sporter?) it would be nice if you could install something like this:

Out of interest and mindful the Lazzeeroni is said to be given of a high CP what scope and mounts are you using?

It’s the standard T/H rather than lazzeroni - which I really didn’t like and couldn’t get on with funny canted grip. Swarovski z6i 2.5-15x56 on the lowest mounts possible - scope is only a mil or two off the barrel unfortunately.

Have you got a link? Struggling to find what you mean? Cheers

No, sorry, I don't, but you get rubber comb raisers of various sizes with a concave underside, simply attach the hook strip (Tesco or any haberdashery) of the Velcro along there, and the fuzzy side along the top of your stock comb to accept it.

Hopefully someone will have a link, or make one out of med/high density foam and shape it, might be a bit Blue Peter, but it'll do the job. Tidiness will be your own responsibility!

a friend of mine made his own comb raiser for his .22 ,he filled a bag with car body filler (bodge),mix a batch of bodge up and put it in a plastic bag.
place the bag over the comb and place cheek onto bag until req height, let set then remove plastic and sand to req shape then paint and screw on.
prob bring down resale value but it didnt look bad

Once had a tikka 55 with a wooden version, two pins fixed into the comb extension dropped into matching tubes inletted into the top of the stock; tidy, worked very well, was readily removed when required. More to the point, I've used a variety of raised comb pieces on various rifles for the past thirty plus years, and would be loathe to do without them.

Yeap, good bit of kit. Super strong velcro and has never budged
