I've had a neoprene cheek raiser on my 204 Tikka T3x for a while now, it came as a pre cut piece and is pretty good but, it's only about quarter of a inch thick.
So I had the bright idea of getting a second one and sticking it to it for a higher fit. All went well - ish, shall we say, did the job, until I took it out of the cabinet the other day and the second piece is still stuck to the first but the first piece is now lifting from the stock. The stock is the synthetic version. What I'm getting at is, has any one tried using a hot glue gun to stick neoprene to a synthetic stock? Or is there any other suggestions. I've tried super glue and that didn't work and pretty much made a mess of the stock. Hope this makes some kind of sense.
