Chuckle

Are these "Teckels"? I've seen the word mentioned a few times.........looks like a Dachshund/Border terrier cross.

Yup - cute in the snow 🙄 Must be quite hard work for a dog with short legs and limited ground clearance. This was my Teckel’s first experience of proper snow 🤗

I had an 8 year old rescue golden cocker from a London address that apparently had never been walked on grass......the first time out was amusing, to say the least......I had a vet look at him, but he was OK.
He went on to be a great retriever, but he never liked handing them over.

Wait a minute.......I only asked a question.....yes or no would have been sufficient answer, no need for a sarky emogee.

I used to rough shoot with the cocker, and whilst I know that dachshunds were used for badger baiting, I didn't realise that a teckel was simply the European name for a dachsund.

And just for the record, I have no problem with anyone shooting/killing something that's going into the human food chain, as long as it's quick, and clean.

Dachs = Badger, Dachshund = Badgerhound
Colloquially Dackel / Teckel in the German hunting fraternities.
