Hi, can anyone recommend where and what brand of clothing for kids, My Son 11 is starting to come out with me Stalking and Beating but can’t seem to find good warm clothes for him when we are out.

I got my lad some Ridgeline kit, but due to the cost went plenty big enough so it might last a couple of seasons... Fleece etc from Jack Pike.

I had a quick look at decathalon as there is one next to me, they don’t have much in store, most of the kids in online.

Out for a days pheasant shooting this season and forgot my 13 yr olds wellies... a day in the mud and wet with non waterproof Nike trainers .. the upshot though he now remembers his own wellies ! Will never forget the look on his face when the shoot captain announced the first drive was "muddy corner "

That's what I do with my girl, (although soon it'll be other way around - can't wait to fit into her pink hello kitty leggings!! )

I started my young lad on game clothing as he was small and grew like weeds. Was decent clothing and warm and waterproof. Now that he’s grown up he’s now on ridgeline and stoney creek stuff. You also have to think on cost and if he not keen on sticking it out then is it worth buying expensive gear.
