In the recent cold weather been suffering with cold feet in my boots when standing around at the clay ground or waiting for foxes, so after looking around with some trepidation I purchased some heated socks. They do need a size bigger boot but fitted my wellingtons perfectly and do take time/effort to put on but so far on medium heat have been excellent when out in ambient temperatures of 2 and 3 degrees. Certainly would not hesitate to buy similar again may be spending more to get a remote to control the temperature, I paid £43.99 for them yet today they look to have jumped up in price £59.99 but that’s Amazon for you.

Forgive me if you're already doing this, the best cure for cold feet and hands (apart from staying in the warmth) is to ensure you wear a well insulated head cover. Makes the world of difference. Whichever technique suits you, Go n-éirí leat!

Wearing an insulated head cover, hands not a problem, don’t feel the cold in them and carry a hand warmer if needed, just me feet that suffered standing around on cold/icy ground for a few hours, tried thermal socks but not much better.

Thanks I am not diabetic.

So so far so good.
