Collapsible shooting seat?

You got me thinking….
When I googled these Amazon’s were the only ones that showed, to different suppliers but only £2 difference in price.
Twas only when looking again to put the info on here that the cheaper ones appeared!
Wonder if Amazon can block other suppliers for a period of time to give themselves an advantage.

Amazon get you to subscribe to get " free" delivery which isn't.
They send me " things I might need" emails then I look on evilbay or Schein usually both are cheaper.
Ebay 3/5 days delivery Schein 8/10 so patient people save money imho atb

Anyone else see a chap demo a collapsible/ telescopic seat? It was made of plastic and circular.
Seen at the recent Shooting Show.

I made a run of these as a concept seat years ago, a SD member has a few in Germany which he has fixed them to trees on known trails so he can sit under the tree canopy back against the tree rifle across his lap.

I converted a few to high seat frames as the profile is in place for a tree...

I've had one of these for work for about 18 months, it's great I use it almost daily. When I bought it from the electrical wholesalers the box said don't stand on it but I use it as a step constantly and it's held up really well, never take it shooting though

With the price of steel also the chap who rolled the rad on the tube has retired then they would be a fair unit cost. But good fun making them. Could you imagine the queue of SD members typing "it won't work" lol

Tried it out last night on way to collect G Daughter from work, called at farm and sat by shipon wall for half hour, okay leaning back on wall, no gun just a spotter. Charlie appears over a rise and starts to cross in front of me about 30 metres out…..phone starts ringing, (GDaughter standing outside work!) and Charlie stops and looks in my direction for a split second, then turns 180 degrees and leaves quicker than he arrived. I’ve ordered 4 more seats for less than £7 each.

Oh dear!
4 cheaper (£7 each) telescopic seats arrived today…..sad to say, all the stuff made in China is not all the same quality!
These 4 seats look pretty similar in appearance to the one that cost £22 but not exactly the same.
The major difference is, none of the 4 work properly, hard ish to extend and nigh on impossible to retract fully.
Plastic feels thinner too.

Just picked up a 45cm tall collapsable step from Dunhelm for £10….folds away flat and fits in my backpack. Easy to clean and not too heavy.
