Front objective size for starters. One is 35 mm the other 50 mm.In the market for a Thermal spotter with LRF
Can any tell me the differences between the Condor pro CQ35L and the Pro CQ50L ?
Is the extra £600 justified for the CQ50L over the CQ35L?
Thanks
Jack
CQ35L is the best value by far and a better FOVIn the market for a Thermal spotter with LRF

Will be used on everything from rabbits to boar, foxes to deer.If you look at their product page they provide a comparison. If you are chasing foxes over 200 yards the 50 wins, roe in forest blocks definitely the 35 due to base mag and field of view.

Are you saying the 35 wouldn’t be good for foxing? I’d hope a thermal which is £1600 would be able to clearly identify a fox at 200yards
I’d say mostly foxing and boar with a few deer stalks chucked inWork it the other way around, if you have a fast moving object at 50y in trees is it a deer or a pheasant, foxes at 200y are easy, a boar at 50y isn’t as base mag and FOV count then.
It’s all compromise, what do you need most as there isn’t one for everything.
Get the 35mm, save money and it's a better allround unit.I’d say mostly foxing and boar with a few deer stalks chucked in
Drop me a message.I have been planning on purchasing the condor but I held back a little just after Christmas to make sure all of these teething problem issues we have talked about have been resolved. It seems from what I have read the latest update has now solved the issues. So now I look to purchase to find the price of the 640 35mm condor has now gone back up again. This unit was down to £1709.00 just after Christmas £200 saving and now back up to £1899.00
My question is will this price come back down again in the near future.
It's got black hot, white hot, red hot, and a fusion setting. Fusion is pink.Any more user updates on this?
I have a question regarding colour palettes
I use my XQ38LRF on sepia at night, does the Condor have sepia or red?
