Don't know Scotland at all, it was a RFD to RFD transfer, but is in the KY5 postcode area ...
Somewhere in Fife presumably!
Oh I dont know. I was always keen and happy to go in. It’s my hobby so I always get excited about buying new bits. Even when going in to buy a few rounds I knew I would treat myself to something extra. Few goodies on the counter Jack Pyke keyring pen knife springs to mind…..Pause for a moment and think what it must be like to have to deal with us lot day in, day out.
Pure purgatory.
I’m increasingly convinced there’s some neurodegenerative issue there, with clear decline over time. That level of erratic aggression and irrational vindictiveness just isn’t normal outside of bad novels about boarding schools!Somewhere in Fife presumably!

Indian train carriage killed meI’m lucky to have 6 gunshops within 45 minutes and it’s a 50/50 split…. The closest one doesn’t really ever have anything, the next closest the guy who is wedged behind the counter has the worst personal hygeine, the shop smells like an Indian train carriage, the next one is part of a farm and some of which is in the house - it’s complete bedlam especially if a shoot day is on.
The other three are great! Next closest always have what I want or something similar and if not do anything they can to get it, not only this but they guys who work there are great characters and the fishing section is excellent too, I thoroughly recommend KD Radcliffes, they are a proper gunsmith too.
After that I have Essex Gun at Fennes who are brilliant people and have a decent stock of most things and tend to be cheaper than anywhere else.
Lastly Eastern Sporting is somewhere that pretty much always has everything you’d need but the new store lacks the character of the old one..
I would actually love thatIt would be interesting to hear their views of us
Trigger i live by this statement and I have never quibbled over paying a few quid more rather than going online where its cheaper.
Shops that provide service like that deserve to prosper.I recently had cause to visit Clarkes of Walsham, in Suffolk.
I'd phoned loads of places looking for Federal Powershok 130grain .270, without luck. Someone suggested Clarkes, but I thought they were just a builder's merchants.
Phoned them, and yes, they had plenty in stock. They offered to ship them to their other store the next day for me to collect, but as I was heading back to North Wales next day that wasn't much help.
I said I'd drop by the shop at Walsham-le-Willows if I got a chance on my way, but if not never mind.
I did drop by, and found they'd put aside what I wanted, with my name on, just in case.
Excellent service.
They have a lovely Country Store there, and a really good range of ammo.
Big shout out for Clarkes from me!
