Cordless chainsaw

Has anyone any experience of Kress 60v chainsaw or EGO chainsaw?
I've been using ego since 2021. Started with the 14", now I mostly use the 21" commercial. Fantastic tools.

The batteries are expensive, but come with a 3 year warranty.

I also use the blower, commercial pole saw and hedge trimmer, brushcutter and strimmer, all brilliant.

If you want to know anything specific, ask away.

My petrol one is cordless. I can recharge it in 2 mins.
😂 I’ve got 3 Husqvarna petrol saws (562,346,353) but was looking for something to keep in the back of the truck to clear the inevitable wind blow across tracks without having to carry petrol etc and avoid carcass contamination.

To be honest, if you've already got a rechargeable battery system, you may as well stick with that. Makita, parkside and plenty others do chainsaws that will do the sort of work you're describing.

You need a minimum of a 5ah battery if you're going for ego, which isn't cheap and if you aren't using it regularly, it won't last far beyond the warranty period.
