I have owned a pair of Vortex Viper 8x42 HD for years, and very good they are too. I took them on a recent trip to Scotland, had a bit of a slip and ended up damaging one of the ocular mechanisms so it wouldn't adjust. There was also dirt in the ocular and the focus mechanisms which made an unpleasant grinding sound when adjusted.

I bought them new from Amazon years ago, couldn't download a receipt and suspect they might have been some sort of grey import. The warranty form from CSW didn't require any information about where they were purchased, so I just sent them off. I received an email from Eddie at CSW the day they were delivered to confirm receipt. The following day I receieved an email to tell me that both ocular mechanisms and rubbers had been replaced, in addition to replacing the lubricant in the focus wheel mechanism. They were sent back to me by courier the following day and I received them the day after. Eddie kept me updated by email through the process and was a pleasure to deal with.

They look and operate like a new pair of binocualrs. Eddie also provided some objective lens covers to replace the ones I had lost.

Absolutely outstanding service from CSW and Vortex. Highly recomended optics with an unbeatable warranty.
 
I had a similar experience years ago when Riflecraft (I think it was them) had the distributer rights.

Can't knock optics that offer that level of warranty even on their electronic components unlike the "top Euro brands"

Sent my Vortex Viper PST Gen II down to @CSW for a repair and the service from them was great.

Ended up with a brand new scope being sent out to me.

Very easy to deal with CSW, and kept me in the loop throughout. Can highly recommend these guys.
 
due to the service i received a few years back from them over an issue with a second hand scope i now owned, i know own their bio's, a razor rangefinder, a monocular and a couple of scopes.... could not fault them or the quality of service and the fact that now post brexit, they are UK based
