Vortex warranty

Big shout out to Vortex and Country Sports Wholesale for their "any time any cause warranty"
I managed to scratch a lenses on my Fury LRF bino's. Simply download loaded a form from the CSW website and sent it along with my binos to them. No need for receipt or any other proof of purchase/ownership.
Got an email of acknowledgement immediately on receipt to say they were being sent to Vortex for repair. The binos came back totally refurbished and like new.
Fantastic service by both Vortex and their importer.

Great news, as just about to do the same for a scope that isn't tracking properly. Always good when a warranty actually works as it is advertised.

What was the turn around time?

Regards

Mark

I was talking to the guy who does all their warranty work at the National Shooting Show. He was telling me they get stuff returned that has been run over and in house and vehicle fires. The instruction from Vortex is to replace it. I think it is one of the best warranties in the world.

I contacted them recently over a tripod of theirs which had a slightly bent adjustment nob (still worked but I just wanted to ask if I could get a new nob to replace it before it sheared off). Response after much head scratching was “wow that’s an old tripod, we’ve never seen that model before” they apologised as they no longer carried parts for such an outdated model and would I mind a new equivalent in exchange. Can’t fault that for service, just waiting now for it to come into the country but it shouldn’t be long now with luck. Only slight fly in the ointment is the old one had a ball head on it and the new one won’t, it has a standard head which won’t suit my needs so it’ll likely be up for sale when it comes back but still, can’t grumble at the service really.

depends on the problem (and the value of the scope I suppose) if its a big issue they might just replace it so quick return. My Bino's had to be sent to the states so took 7 weeks. CSW need to wait until they have a batch to send and these are then batch returned.
Wasn't an issue for me as I have a backup set of cheaper binos

You may be able to swap the heads over.

No doubt about it warranty wise, the best there is. Also good quality kit in its own right, especially the higher end stuff. I always admire brands that stand behind their gear and avoid those that don’t.

I've had excellent service from @CSW
Backed up with the Vortex warranty it's been a pain free buying experience.

I had a scope sent to them as it had some dust inside.

Brand new scope sent to me FOC.

Which scope? Had a Viper that was great & fancying something again for PRS style

For a pure stalking rifle, it love my meopta fixed power.

For everything else it's vortex, inc a LRF, the warranty applies to electronics too, which is unusual
