Couple of heavy summer bucks

A couple of heavy summer bucks from this weekend , the new rifle and Zulus are christened ,

Not weighed them ,but ,, got to be nearly 25kg to 30kg or not far off .

60yds and 160 yds , 308 150 grain PPU

One shot at 5am on friday morning and one at 7pm friday evening ,

Freezers aint the problem .....Need a chiller me ole mucker , i came home yesterday ,just because i aint got one , just butchering as we speak ,,,,,be nice to leave um for a few days to hang though ...no chance in this weather

do you mean larder weight? If so thats staggering. Biggest I have shot LW was 44lb

Dead reet , thats me for summer stalking , fishing from now ,

This was a life saver ,kindly given to me by TAE , washable fly net , it did the job nicely , kept the insects off,

Luckily in shade it was 10 degrees , and the thunderstorm helped to drop temp , but yesterday the temp rose again , time for a 5hr drive home , with air con on lol

ahh - sounds about right. I think the record LW btw is 28.5kg

Better larder was bout 20kg, back straps and haunch are big old lumps for roe

I got a belter last night that was by far the heaviest I've gotten gonna weigh It I bet its 42-44lbs, and off course instead of shooting it from the road we let it run over the hill and we stalked up too it so It ended up being a 400y drag over moorland, my luck!
