cover crops sheept won't raid

any suggestions on cover crops for buffer strips that sheep won't raid if not fenced?

Never found one yet. Sheep will tackle about anything

we graze sheep through our elephant grass at the end of the season they only seem to eat the rye and wild grass not the ele makes a wonderful place for broods to run around in ,good cover for the sheep in the bad weather in feb
