Unfortunately, Praesidia no longer seem to make a cover for my mod, Wildcat Predator 8 (50x200mm). I need something heat proof a well as protecting it from knocks.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Hi. I'm in the same boat. Found this guy on flea-bay who makes them to order. Cordura outer in a selection of camo's, Nomex liner £33. Not ordered one yet as I'm waiting for my mod

On a hot summers day at Bisley?
Don’t see why Bisley would be any different to anywhere else?

A range is a range.

As for the temperature of the day - the heat haze will be worst when the temperature difference is bigger and humidity is high. So likely to be at its worst on cool damp day in Scotland…

Ultimately, when you’re shooting big strings, your mod is going to get hot. A few microns of fabric is not going do much. The differences between a £200 bespoke tacticool cover, some vet wrap or an old sock are going to be a minimal.

Until someone makes water cooled mod covers, the choice is not about functionality, it’s about looks.

I’ve seen water cooled barrel coolers lol

An acquaintance of mine once said :

“50% of shooting is looking cool. The other 50% is knowing you look cool”

🤣
